Foil variant of poster of 2009. Numbered out of 6 worldwide, it is signed by both artists and each member of The Decemberists.

If they were to cast people that only do martial arts, then it would've been Seagal, Van Damme, Norris, Lundgren and Jet Li.

Sure he is, his movies just werent blockbusters.

He's not known for his action movies. Ask anyone that goes around quoting Norris jokes and they will say he's only been in Texas Ranger.

End of the day, im glad he's not in the movie. I think Van Damme would've been a great addition though.

I think its awesome that all these guys get together to do this. I wonder how long arnie will be in it? He has to be top dog for sure. The arnie stallone jokes will be on for young and old. Cant wait.

Texas ranger was his retirement job. He has kicked in a whole lot a heads in his movies.

Definately gonna be a blast from the past.

There is a fair few others you could argue could make it into a cast like this.

Imagine the egos.

My biggest memory of my childhood is 80's action movies. I watched them every week. We have no action movie stars these days, so its good seeing stallone doing something like this. I can't wait.

Arnie only has a cameo. Expect a 5 min performance.

Yeah Arnie and Bruce Willis wont be in it for long.

They are already talking of sequel treatment so if this one does well then I wouldnt be surprised if some more action stars from the past come back.

@brad, delta force FTW!!!

10/10

Loved it. Every minute. Reminded me so much of the 80's action movies that I adore. It was brutal, bloody, action packed and just perfect in about every way. The melee fights were especially violent.

The cast was great, of course. Seeing Dolf and Arnie nearly brought a tear to my eye.

For anyone that enjoys Commando, Predator, and any other iconic action movie, I cannot recommend The Expendables enough. It is a must see for those fans.

Dave was complaining about the lack of action.

"There was a little bit at the end"

I am convinced he is retarded.

Yeah he said that on the way out, but I wasn't sure if he was serious.

He just won't admit it was entertaining because he follows reviews and Rotten Tomatoes gave it 50% or something. He just can't be wrong.

Good to hear, looking forward to seeing it, doesnt come out here for a couple of weeks.

With regards to reviews, you cant really go by them with action movies, its so subjective. You made a point of Rambo 4 before, reviewers hated it, but it was great and just what that series and Stallone needed.

Exactly. Reviewers only look for acting and plot twists.

Just reading this review in the latest Empire issue. They gave it 3, but I also dont listen to reviews and watch a film first and decide if its to my liking or not. If it captures me, then I'll probably buy it on Blu-Ray and add it to the collection.

Can't remember if anyone mentioned it, but Van Damme and Sly had a disagreement with the storyline, hence he was overlooked.
Segal prioritizes his TV show Steven Segal: Outlaw or something over this.

Im so looking forward to seeing this

POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!!!

Sly wants Bruce Willis to be a baddie for the sequel

http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/111/1116704p1.html

I reckon he might go for it considering how successful the first one has been. I haven't watched it yet, but I have next week off so I will then.

Ok,finally saw it.

Really enjoyed it, even my gf did.

Plenty of action, good casting and not too stupid. I love it when Willis asks whats his problem (refering to Arnie) and sly replies "he wants to be president".lol, so true.

There will definitely be a sequel, what I want to see:

-more of Arnie & Willis
-a martial arts scene between Jet Li and some other respected martial arts person.
-Van Damme in it.
-more big names from yesteryear intermixing with current heavyweights.
