i stole this from the BSK forums cos i can't post there anymore.
This is a good read which I found very interesting about life in American Prisons.
It is a little full on but very interesting. If you have the time read it.
I only read about half of it but still good.

I too read this earlier on BSK and had though of posting the link here. It is very insightful and the guy is a poet. I love reading something written by someone who has an understanding of the English language as great as this guy does - especially after 2 years of incarceration.

Did you read the entire article Tim,including his replies to the many questions?

Just so everyone knows, it is not a short document, it is honest and long - but all the same a joy to read. (if that can be said about a story such as this, the joy I am referring to is the type you feel when you read something foreign to you, but can instantly understand it.)

not all of it.. i will get back to it later.. i was reading the questions and his answers aswell.. some horrific shit, especially about the case with the toothbrush. *shudder*

The guy should write a novel, it would need barely any editing.
