Gran Turismo 5

Apologies for all the pictures, some of them big (right-click on the big ones and paste the URL into your browser to look at them properly), but this eye candy needed posting...

The attention to detail on that engine and some of the close-up shots is incredible! More here

Don't think I'm getting any of the extra editions.
I don't like the fact you can unlock those premium cars instead of working through the game.

The whole point of GT was to buy a shitbox and work your way up.

Looks cool. I will probably get this game, although I am not a racing game fan. This game is the 2nd most expensive game ever made with a budget of $80 million.

November 3rd for Europe, which includes us.

GTA4 is the most expensive game, I believe. Something like $100 million.

Good option Buz. I have the Logitech Driving Force GT, which is the one recommended for this game. It's awesome, and pretty affordable. The Logitech G27 is even better, with an H-gate gearbox and everything, but really expensive.

There's heaps more details, pictures and videos to check out if you're interested over at GTPlanet

Every PS3 owner should buy this game.

I'm not a huge fan of racing games, but a game like this that is so fucking impressive and one that the devs have obviously put a lot of effort into deserves to be rewarded.
People should support high production titles and games that were made with the intention of being the best. If not, shitty developers will keep releasing shitty, underproduced games.
