Big whys in film?

Post  fuchswagen on Sat Sep 18, 2010 2:40 am

I really enjoy allot of movies but on occasion something will stick its ugly head out and ruin part of the experience for me. For eg.

1. Inception - Why didn't DiCaprio's character just ask someone (like his uncle) to fly his kids to Europe if he wanted to see them so badly again. Why go through all that trouble?

2. The Dark Knight - Why does Christian Bale speak to Alfred in his batman voice while in costume? His identity is no secret to him.

Anyone else got good ones?

The hurt locker - As if 3 bomb disposal experts would go off in the middle of the night, without backup, to go catch some insurgents. One of them gets badly injured and the guy who suggested they go out doesn't get in trouble. Stupid.

some good potential in this thread

1. 2012 - when theyre in the airplane flying through the city as it crumbles down. its so unnessecary and dangerous. why not just get some altitude first instead of having to dodge falling building in a single engine plane full of people?

2. Iron Man - This could just be me being really anal, but where on earth does he store the missiles and ammo in his suit?

3. Twilight - why does everything have to be so damn difficult all the time.
