Saints got lucky though, very lucky. The draw worked out well for them. Saints were in front for only 6 minutes of the whole match.
Watch Collingwood hang around Goddard like a bad smell next week. He deserved the Norm Smith too.

Also, hayes kicked a 55m goal and nothing else - I am sick of Goddard not getting recognized for his talent. He kept us in the game by himself.

Goddard was brilliant. He was part of every major piece of play for the Saints.

Harry O'brien played well for Collingwood, as did Dale Thomas. Collingwood were always one step ahead of Saints. Next week will be interesting.

It was a fantastic game to watch and I thought it was so interesting how both Maxwell and Goddard referred to it as a war - they really gave their all. No doubt Goddard would have been a popular choice for the medal and I thought he should have won it but Lenny Hayes did also play an awesome game - he was maybe more consistent whereas Goddard was more sporadic in his outstanding play - just a thought.

I don't agree with not having extra time BUT DAMN, HOW GOOD IS IT THAT WE GET TO WATCH THESE TWO SENSATIONAL TEAMS BATTLE AGAIN!!!!
