Re: The town
They advertised this 'up the wazoo' in Paris. Billboards and stuff everywhere.
It looks good. I'd like to see it.

October 13th or something, last time I checked the Village site.
It was just leaving the cinemas in Paris. Weird.

Re: The town
Saw this last night, really good movie. Highly recommend it to everyone to watch at the movies.
Good cast, storyline, quite violent. I like Jeremy Renner in this, he previously has done the hurt locker and S.W.A.T and is really good as the gun-ho villain. Ben Affleck also does a good job of directing.
Has anyone seen it yet, thoughts?

Re: The town
Yeah it was alright. Looking back though, it's not worth the $16 movie ticket.

To add more, I really didn't give a fuck about the chick in it. Her involvement in the movie should've ended with the bank scene.
A lot more robberies and a lot less talking would've made the movie more enjoyable for me.

Re: The town
Yeah it needed more robberies. I guess they had her in to give the main character more emotion. I still think its worth the price of admission. Like I said, I like the gun-ho character and I thought John Hamm did a good job of the cop. Plus I enjoyed how he (Affleck) got revenge on the florist.
$16! Is that how much it is for movies back in Oz? For fucks sake, its getting ridiculous.
