Castlevania - Lords of Shadow

We have talked about this before and now this game gets its own thread!!!

I have the demo. I enjoyed it, even though it's short and they don't really give you anything to do. The visuals are impressive though.
I will pick this up upon release.

I won't get it on release because I am trying to save.
I'll be getting two worlds 2 to too when it is out next month, so I'll have to wait and play what I got!

The game looks pretty good though.

i dont know if i should get two worlds cos it comes out a little before my finals then i got black ops when my finals finish.
i may just get it to play when my net goes down or when i get pissed at black ops. lol

I am a bit disappointed in the linearity and camera issues in this game. The camera is fixed and you cant always see the enemies. Also hit detection is iffy in this game, but I blame the camera. Graphics are ok though. Had high hopes for this, but for me this is a 7/10 game.

Damn, thats a shame mate. I had high hopes for it as well. Havent got it yet.

Its funny, most gaming magazine's gave the game high scores, but a few websites (ign, gametrailers etc) have been giving review scores in line with you.

This just arrived in the mail, but it won't be in my PS3 for another month or so yet.

Finally started playing this. On chapter 5.
It's a 7/10 game. The visuals are amazing, as is the voice acting (Patrick Stewart is FANTASTIC), BUT the fixed camera works about 50% of the time and the level design can be frustrating.
The enemies are nice and varied and the combat grows well as the game progresses.

With GT5 and Splatterhouse coming out tomorrow, and the Sly Collection arriving soon, I may need to put this game on hold yet again for a few weeks.

How is the difficulty mate? Castlevania games are supposed to be pretty tough...
