First topic: The currency System.. Discuss!!
I'm really looking forward to this part of the game cos once you have unlocked certain items you then get the ability to buy them.
This ranges from weapons to attachments, to emblems and call signs, customising any part of your character, buying killstreaks.

Currency system is a copy of so many other games.

I could not agree more. I bought W@W, MW1 & MW2 only for the SP.

I just watched the customization video. haha what a joke.
Being able to put a symbol or paint on a gun/person does not mean customization. It's as basic as Warhawk's editing side, which is poor.

It is actually quite good IMO.

Giving players any point of difference in a game like this is great. You like to stand out.

I know you have barely touched the other CoD games online but in those your outfit is determined by the first gun you choose, which is very limiting.
Extra camos is awesome.

As far as the reticle changes and tags on guns etc goes, it will be purely for those game winning kill or kill cam moments.
You know you are getting killed by the same guy over and over not by the type of gun he is using, but what is on his gun.

I appreciate any additions like this because I fully intend to actually play the online.

I disagree that it is a joke, i would call it a joke if there were no additions to the game at all.

The customization may be better than previous installments, but it's still poor.
In order to claim "customization" for a game, and especially to release a trailer, the game should be akin to the customization of LBP/Modnation, or to a lesser extent Resistance or Brink.

It may be a welcomed addition, but it's pretty piss poor.

Extra camouflage skins and 'little stickers' does not equal customisation.

If anything it is an overprices series, that feeds off the money of all the suckers out there who haven't played anything better.

Graphics do not make a game, gameplay does, and all CoD lack in it in terms of the MP.

hahaha, getting pedantic aren't we? maccaz you are effectively arguing that it was a poor choice of words. also, i reckon there would be about 20 million+ people who's disagree that cod is a bad mp game....

if YOU don't like the mp then then that is YOUR opinion, not necessarily the case.

honestly come up with something more creative than the obvious, everyone knows cod is costly, but they still pay.


@gunn - i would never expect customization to level of LBP in a shooter, i know you were just making a point about the word though. perhaps they should have phrased it 'all new appearance options' or something of that nature.
