The Perfect Trilogy?

Can you name one? I don't think I can.

Godfather, Terminator, Matrix, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ocean's 11, Die Hard, Alien, Jurassic Park were all let down by one of the movies in the trilogy. Filmmakers can't just get it right in a trilogy. Either the second film isn't as good as the first or the 3rd one doesn't give the other 2 films justice. The only ones that come close would be LOTR and the original Star wars trilogy and I think in both of those cases they are slightly let down by the 3rd film in the series.


The same can be said for games. I guess one that would come close is the god of war series, but fans say that, while the 3rd is good, it isn't as great as the other 2. Same goes on other systems, Halo and the Metroid Prime series, both were let down by the second in the series. I hope that my perfect trilogy will come with the game I look forward to the most before the PS4 comes out, Uncharted 3.

Killzone, it has gotten better each game (even if 3 is in beta)

LOTR, Ratchet and Clack, Metal Gear Solid. That's about it.

Indiana Jones trilogy, LotR and the original star wars trilogy were all good.

In terms of games i enjoyed the first 3 jak and daxter games

Resistance is also good.

The original JAWS trilogy was great until they made the fourth movie which was a piece of shit.
