Basketball NBA/NBL
NBL has been one for about 2 weeks and NBA started on ONE HD yesterday.
They televised Celtics v Heat and Lakers v Rockets.
Both good games, much better than our NBL (although I'll be watching the tigers get pumped by the breakers on Friday)
I thought Houston were gonna beat LA until Brown shot those consecutive 3s to even it up, what a performance off the pine.
I am stoked that ONE is televising a heap of basketball, anyone else watch it?

ONE has 2 more games on Friday.
If you want the full experience you have to get Austar/Foxtel.
ESPN and ONE HD will be showing different games on alternating days.

I stream any basketball I watch off the internet. Quality isn't anything like watching it on tele, but it's the best I can do. www.firstrow.net is pretty good, and has lots of other sports too.
I watched 3 quarters of the Heat-Celtics, and the second half of Lakers-Rockets. Best time of the season for the Celtics to play the Heat, they're only going to improve from here. Shannon Brown was on fire alright, won it single handedly pretty much.

I got nba broadband. Just watch Blake Griffins first game for the clippers. He is a freakin beast. Also watched La lakers, buccs and miamis game from today. Fully sick. They got it set up better now. You can watch 4 games at once. Hanging to see john walls first game tomorrow.

Haha. He might play better with a gun to his head in the changing room.
Bali, how much does NBA Broadband cost you? Can you watch the games in full on demand later that day? Most of the games are during work hours so I'd be keen to watch them a few hours late when I get home.

Wow, John Wall and his Wizards are getting absolutely humped by the Magic. Ouch.

yeah, that wasn't that good to watch.weezernz wrote:Wow, John Wall and his Wizards are getting absolutely humped by the Magic. Ouch.
Wall was getting blocked all over the place.
Fair enough though, Wall's first NBA game against Howard. Did well to get as many points as he did.

With the playoffs it cost around about $200. Last year i cancelled it coz the download was 1mb per sec. Must be lower this year. You can watch every game live or the day after. You can fast forward. You can have 4 games on your screen at once. All in HD. So far so good. Telstra sent me a letter saying they are upgrading me from 30gb to 200gb for free. Check it out on nba.com

Who does everyone go for?
I haven't had a team and have only just decided on one.
I am going to support the Oklahoma City Thunder.
They have some young guns (Durant, Westbrook, Green). They way I figure it, if I go for them now then in 4-5 years time when they are up the top I can say 'i've been supporting them for years!' hahaha

I don't support it at all but my brother is a big Celtics fan.
Granted he also supports Boston Red Sox so he's probably mentally retarded...

Golden State Warriors!
Stephen Curry is my favourite.
I also quite like the Bulls and the Thunder, I hope they both go well into the postseason. I must admit I enjoy watching the Heat too. I can't say I support them, but they make for exciting TV.

Heat lost their one game of the year, they'll win everything now. They had a 20 point win today.
OKC lost to jazz.... Maybe I shouldn't go for them, haha.
GSW are off to a good start weez, pity their PG is injured. They did pretty good against the lakers considering. Monta Ellis scored a heap early on.

I like Bulls too, but am not sure whether it is the bulls I like or just Derrick Rose.
Gotta say that for some reason I don't like Boozer. Don't know why.
