prob just buy a slim . wonder if theres a black ops pack . i could fix but prob only a matter of time till it breaks again. just wish there was a limited edition different colour out.

Mine's doing this too.
It's a generic hardware fault isn't it?

Anyone have any more specifics as to what the red light blink actually is?

No it stays on for 15-30 seconds and then shuts down.
To be honest i'm over it and I'll buy a new one, just curious at this point
