Gangster Movies

Gangster Movies is probably one of my favourite genre's. I think I have seen most of the Pacino and De niro one's and some of the more recent ones like the Departed and American Gangster, does anyone know of any good one's that maybe aren't that well known, but are worth watching?

I too enjoy gangster films. Goodfellas is my favourite (yes, better than the Godfather).
American Gangster and The Departed sucked in my opinion.

No doubt you have seen all the classics. My only recommendation would be 'Road to Perdition', if you haven't seen it.

I was going to say Road to Perdition too.
My fave is The Untouchables followed by Goodfellas.
I liked both The Departed and American Gangsta

I dont really know any others off the top of my head... though there is that one with Hugh Grant haha

Im a big fan of The Untouchables with Sean Connery.

Theres something on sky ATM, could be finished though, its a 5 part mini series or something... Only seen the previews, but looks pretty good..

Yup seen Perdition Road. I liked the departed and was glad Scorsese finally got an oscar for it! American Gangster was average though.

Its tough to say which is better, Goodfellas or Godfather,both are amazing and are some of the finest cinematic experiences.
