Here is a trailer for the prequel series to Spartacus:Blood and Sand.

Its called Spartacus:Gods of the Arena and begins January 21!

Blood and Sand was very hit and miss.

It was in the beginning (hit & miss),but I quite enjoyed it from about halfway through until the end. So I will definitely give this one a go. Hopefully they can do as well since the main guy won't be in it.

This is the prequel series so they don't have to worry about replacing the main guy.

They are going to do a second series (if you look up the real history there is quite a lot that happened when they broke out of their training camp, so the show could theoretically have plenty of seasons), the last I heard was that it was up between 2 guys I haven't heard of to replace the main guy.

The first ep. of this prequel series is up on the torrent sites. I haven't seen any reviews. I will download it tonight and watch it tomorrow!

Just watched the episode. It's almost exactly the same as the first season.

lol,yeah I noticed that. And the main Gladiator was a hitman in the second series of underbelly. I am always wary when Australian actors are put in big American shows.lol

Ah thats who it was.
I think is more a New Zealand show since it is filmed there and 80% of the actors are Kiwis. Doctore is Temurea Morrison from Once Were Warriors also
