DC Universe Online.

I've been keeping my eye on this game for a while. When i was a kid i was into "Batman the animate series" and have always had a decent interest in the DC universe. Not in the sense that i will buy comics and totally nerd out but if a new batman movie comes our or i find an old animated movie i'll usually download it.

Anyway i've been looking at this game and it looks like a lot of fun. Mainly because its an online game where you can create your whole identity and abilities. It also looks good because it's a game which isn't seen as fun because of the amount of violence in it. I enjoy my CoD and battlefields but lately i've been finding the whole shooter genre a little tedious and boring. Shooters which don't have a decent story start to bore me after a while.

Anyway I have high hopes for this game and it looks like it could be a bundle of genuine, story driven fun.

I saw the trailer. It looks wicked

The trailer is awesome. Not sure if this is my sort of game, but I loved Arkham Asylum and how it brought in heaps of lore of the batman universe. So hopefully DCUO has plenty of storyline and if it does than it could be something I would be interested in.

Yeahh the story wil be what determines it for many people i think. But the idea of playing in a DC world with your friends seems like it will be a good lot of fun.

I'll be getting this. Hopefully I'm done with tw2 though. That game is awesome.

Nahh i don't have playstation plus. Thinking of getting it though. Would have been awsome to have gone in the beta.
Some more news is that when purchasing the game you get a 30 day free trial and then it will be $15 a month roughly for further play. Or you could go and buy $199 lifetime pass.

Going for platinum for this trophy would take a while. Reaching level 30 on several characters will be a drag.

Disappointed that you can't fly and have super speed

Maybe I won't download it. It is meant to be a 15gb download. I'll have to wait for the full game.

holy crap! 15gb! that's ridiculous for a beta.
