Resistance 3

Finished it.

What a fantastic game. The visuals are top notch and very detailed (I thought R2's was rather flat) and the action is non stop! I loved it. The gore was great, the mine scene and prison were more scarey than RE5 and how awesome was it smashing people with the sledge hammer! On the down side it didn't go for that long,but ah well, quality over quantity.

It will be interesting to see where the next devleoper takes it from here (Insomniac are no longer exclusive to sony and sony probably have exclusive rights to the Resistance franchise).

I didn't find the prison that creepy for some reason. It had it's moments but overall i didn't think it was too bad. I think the town full of grims was worse. You were always just waiting for a grim to pop out of no where, or worse, hear them coming and see a wave of 10 or so charging at you from a random angle.

And you're right. Not only is insomniac multiplatform now they've also said they have no intentions of progressing the game any further at the moment. I think the ending needed a lot of work and there was a fair bit of the back story that never got explained so hopefully someone picks it up and does a bit of work to it.
