Matrix 4 and 5

Post  Gasman40 on Mon Jan 24, 2011 11:24 pm

Eat your heart out. Looks like they might be pumping out another 2. I thought the first one was great, the second and third not so much but they were still a decent watch over all.

Movie Producers need to pull their finger out and find an original idea instead of bringing us shit like Avatar Fern Gully 2 and sequels to movies that weren't good in the first place.

I agree entirely.
The two best movies released in recent years are Inglorious Basterds and District 9, and both of those were original ideas, or ideas taken in an entirely different direction.

Triple post?

Not all movies can be original thoughts. Sequels have their place.
I'll watch em.

I don't mind sequels, but fuck me, Matrix 2 & 3 were absolute shit! Yes the visuals did look good at the time, but the story was fucked and the action got repetitive.

I know why the Wachowski brothers are doing it, because they haven't done anything good since the Matrix series (lol Speed Racer). There is no point to it, they completely finished the storyline after the 3rd film and the Animatrix severed as a prequel. Keanu hasn't done anything noteworthy as well so I guess he might be interested.

Think up something new and original Wachowski brothers, after all, the first Matrix was great!

Completely agree crowley. The third movie tied up the loose ends so making more movies doesn't really sound like a logical move. My guess will be that they follow the path of someone else, maybe someone who will become the next chosen one or something. Honestly i don't really care that they're making more because i did enjoy the first one a lot but i just really hope they don't butcher the series to the point where it has no cred anymore.

i have seen half of the 2nd movie and didnt bother with the 3rd...not really sure why.
The first one didnt really grab me, i thought it was a bit tedious..but that could be in reference to Keanu's acting ability.
