Brink

Im sure many of you have heard about Brink by now. Its set on a floating city called the "Ark" which was a self sufficient utopia. Pretty much shit goes down on the ark when too many people seek refuge there and the self support systems in the city can't support the amount of people on board. From there being so many people slums are formed and pretty much there is the chance of a civil war to break out.

There are two factions in the game. They are resistance and security. You fight as one of these factions in online or offline battles and each faction has their own look and weaponry. There are many different classes which you can play as so you can find your perfect play style. The weapons are totally customisable and i think you can even customise your character to an extent.

The game is running on id tech 4 software so it's going to be looking pretty good. I can't wait for this game. Its already been dubbed a 10 rated game by some reviewers after playing the demo. Its apparently got really tight controls, runs amazingly smoothly and really promotes team play instead of a one man army type situation.
It's being release on the 20th of may here in Australia and its a definite buy for me.

Looks decent, but I don't think its a game for me.

AWESOME game. I only played the first mission though (and failed too!) but what I did play I enjoyed very much.
It really is a team based game and I can see this being a heap of fun online.

It's a complex game. There's a lot of things going on at the same time, which lead to my failure of the first mission. Might take a few hours to figure out exactly what is going on in game.

So you recommend? But thats great that its turned out alright. Good to see a game that requires team work play well.
