Woke up with a huntsman spider about 3/4 inches from my face once. It was on the wall next to my bed. Don't think i've ever been out of bed that quickly. I don't normally freak out about spiders but waking up to that wasn't my idea of a nice morning.

How could I forget this!? - about a month ago I was camping around this massage fallen dead tree. One of the blokes I was with rolled over a huge portion of this tree to put on the fire. About 2 minutes after it hit the fire, around 100 huntsmans came out from inside the log. It must've been a family of them.
There were heaps of those little ones (about 1inch in size) and a handful of the big fuckers. It was great watching them all burn slowly. They couldn't get off the log.

Fuck that's pretty crazy. One spider isn't too bad for me. A whole FUCKEN family would creep the shit outta me.
