PS3 controller question?

Post  fuchswagen on Mon Jun 20, 2011 5:26 pm

I am starting to have issues with my DS3 controller. It will very often iniate the wrong button input when I press down on L3 or R1. Very frustrating when you are playing an online shooter. I tired to reset it but that didnt work. Should probably just chuck it but was wondering if anyone else had some info on this issue.

Hey Fuchs,

Yeah I had one from my oldest PS3 (fatty). I threw mine cos I assumed it had just put up with enough haha.
Similar symptom..seemed like it had reversed controls.

Damn, so no hope. It will be my 3rd DS
1st one - thumb sticks started to stick like glue inside
2nd one - thumb sticks rubber covers disolved away making my fingers bleed
and now hardware malfunction. My ps1 never had controler problems and still works fine lol.

Same. I cant go back to sixth axis. I need the rumble, esp. for warhawk when missiles get locked onto me. lol, so I have 2 sixth axis controllers sitting at home doing nothing.

I have 3 doing nothing.
I just like the weight and feel of the DS3. Mine can't hold a charge well though. I'd say 5 hours to kill the battery from a full charge.

I still have my 2 original controllers from when I got my ps3.
When ever I got to my mates and use his DS3 I hate the feel and weight of it.
I'm so use to my controller. lol

I broke my first colored DS3 out of frustration.
I believe Demons Souls was the culprit.

I get too angry at games.
