Pro requires the player to exercise more control and put more effort in to get out more. Normal players can flick the sticks and get more out for less but it is less rewarding.

both have pros and cons
pro i find over all better, once u get dodging down you will rock and just flat spin all day long
normal is great for defense, and you can switch to a quick counter with a spinning lock.

Think about it, if you were drunk, it is way easier to fly normal than pro.
