Ps3 modchip

Just read there has been a discovery on the ps3 modding scene with the first mod chip claimed to hav been developed and is currently in the tweaking stages...

Not sure if any1 is into it but an interesting piece of info otherwise

Actually they are fucking awesome, BUT i wouldn't get one if you plan to play online (duh!!).

My old Xbox had one, best ~$100 I ever paid, just dumped Xbox games onto a 500GB hardrive and played them straight off of that (You shoulda seen the load times!!!!!)

They could make your entire gaming experience more enjoyable or just totally make it go down the drain.

I did the same as super with my original xbox
I work in Harvey Norman computers at the time and brought my xbox into work and dumped every game in the store on it

I never played the xbox again as a result
too many games = no patience for any game

i've fucked around with modding a little.... just to c where i can get with it

Modded original psx
modded ps2
soft modded psp (easy as fuck to do)
soft modded wii (easy as fuck to do)

I mainly just do it for the region free thing as i use to get a lot of games from bali and thailand. Its also good on psp cause i dont use it to often and u can play more types of data as with the wii

Learnt up heeps about softmodding ps2's, even helped out alot to newbies on afterdawn forums lol...

Still got my old school fat ps2 with a 320 gig hdd, softmodded it to boot using the ps1 game exploit...
n chipped slim ps2...

They just sit on my draw collectin up dust though...

XBOX chipped/modified is the SHIT... Was the ultimate multimedia system to have in your lounge, and could still be at the moment...

Marsta do you even use them, cause I have a stack of PS2 titles but I can not use them - I wanna play Need for Speed 1 again....
