Lol Ive had the odd jam here n there with GOW 1 n 2 n classic Tony hawks... But yeah, even if i dont use it much, Im just the guy that cant depart from them...

PS2's are cheap az hell on trademe/ebay maccaz?

Well they can explain it, but it is probably modding but not the extreme type where you pull things apart, mod them and put them back together again.

No.
But hardware chips don't have that much risk either.

Softmodding can usually be reset to the original firmware whereas hardware cannot unless the chip is replaced.
