Yeah i got a HD tv... Id never cope with an SD anymore...

Thats why i been thinking real hard about ezycap, cause you can score it for 10-20 bux, but it can only record in SD, which means you have to play warhawk in SD to...

did you watch the vids? really easy to use, and it records beautifully
you can look up recordings on youtube, watch them in hd and the quality is amazing

Hard ive been watching them for the last month, wishing i had 1....

The price is just the part thats been putting me off

And im kinda new into the import scene, thats why i rely on trademe

Amazon is piss-easy and reliable and generally really cheap, especially with he dollar doing so well!
My missus uses it to buy books - you can get 'em for us$7.99 vs au$20-ish, so she'll order a dozen at a time!!!
Anyway, the only prob can be that sometimes they won't ship certain products international. I tried to get one of this logitech ps3 Bluetooth/infrared receivers (before they were out here) and they wouldn't let me.

Anyway, my two cents.

I wonder if there are any PVR's like the Hauppage that use HDMI and at 1080p? Would be sick if it wasn't too expensive.

i cant find any

720p is fantastic though

Not so much the resolution that is the problem for me (Warhawk is at 720p native resolution anyway, 1080p is a waste).
It's the lack of HDMI that is the problem for me, I don't use component from PS3
