my headset wont work... ideas?

well, not much to work with here...

if it is USB plug it in and go to Accessories then Audio Device Settings, in there you have to select your mic to make it work

If it is bluetooth then you need to put it in its mode where it can be recognized (should be some sort of manual with the device)
Once you have it in that mode go to Bluetooth devices and you'll have to register the new device

Once registered go through the process of selecting it in Audio device settings
if i have given you the wrong info i will go check my ps3 and tell you the correct process

She has two Jabra's that came with Warhawk and one of the official Sony headsets.
We've plugged them in via USB and set the audio devices to scan, but it's stuck at the "Scanning" phase.

with the jabra dont you have to hold down the button on it for a few moments so it goes inot the mode where the ps3 will recognize it? plugging it in should only charge it...

You hve to do that with most if not all BT items. That places the headset in the discoverable mode. It has to be that way so the PS3 can see it.

Yeah you have to find out which button to hold down i think...

I just installed my motorolla bluetooth 1 to the ps3 2 days ago, had to power it on with the power button, Then hold down the power and 1 of the volume buttons to put it into discover mode...

Then wahlah..

Sounded crap though, so went back to ps3eye

Fix it yet? Pass codes are 0000 unless listed otherwise.
