Big maps vs Small maps

Post  Isis_au on Thu Nov 12, 2009 11:36 pm

I think I've figured out all the reasons why I prefer small maps to bigger ones but what it ultimately comes down to is that I like to have fun. Big maps don't seem to have that appeal. I like small maps because
it's a more even game. It's not hard for a noob to knife a general.
It's more personal because everything is happening so much closer
easier to turn a game around and even it up
less planes to a2g the crap out of you
easier to team kill
easier to monitor the state of play and how your team is doing

Anyway these are just my opinions and I'm sure some people will disagree. Plus I'm just grumpy after three thrashings and relentless a2ging tonight.

I agree Bec. Small maps are the best. More intense, especially CTF...though not CC

For me a good game is one that is a good tight evenly matched battle. Small maps probably produce those games more consistently, but there's nothing like a good to and fro battle on a large map, rare though it is.

lol

*mental note not to say anything that can easily be edited by other users*
*new word not to use - tight*

Another reason I think Americans are f***ed, in their "football" a position is Tight End ??? What tha fuck ??

Maybe Ripping could ask his mates about their tight end ?
