lol - I haven't been there for a couple of years, but it used to have a bar called the bomb shelter, coz it was a WW2 bomb shelter!!! (go figure).

You should fit right in, but if it's an early-opener you're after, well you can't go past the Casino!!! I think they stop serving piss (to the public) between 5am and 6am or something, but you can stock up before that!!!

you'd be better off getting a train from somewhere on the Beenleigh line to South Bank and then getting a ferry around to Kangaroo Point. $10. lol, but about an hour and a half trip - it's an 45 mins to an hour by car anyway, so not that much more.

LJ might know more as he used to live with Raz at Nerang.
