Ok so i have decided to implement a rewards system for gaining points on these boards

With your accumulated points you will have the ability to 'purchase' certain things, here are a few things that i have thought of so far:




once you purchase an item from the shop the points will be deducted from your balance

to purchase an item you will need to contact me about it

we will run competitions occasionally to allow you to grab additional points to get the points you are after quicker!
other than that you will get points for things such as:
Everyday you are a member = +1pt
Every post you make = +1pt
Every topic (thread) you make = +3pts
Positive Kudos = +1pt
Thread creator thanking you = +3pts

You also have the potential to lose your points:
Negative kudos = -2pts
Kudos spamming (giving kudos to friend to frequently) = -25pts and -15pts for the user you give the kudos to
Thanks spamming (same but with the thanks button) = -30pts and -20pts for the user you give the thanks to
Over posting = This is discretionary but you will be warned before you get penalised for this

Moderators will watch users to make sure none of the above is happening

I hope you all enjoy this idea, all suggestions for improvement will be taken seriously!

give your input people and we will get this thing happening as soon as possible

feedback on what i have already put down for rewards
ect...



also, start posting heaps to build up your points for when the store does get released! (hopefully by the end of the week but no guaranteed ETA)

But isnt it a bit unfair for those people who have less time (people who work... not me...) to get extra points for posting and people may see it as rewarding you for spamming? just putting my ideas out there

welcome mozz and yes that maybe a good point, however this whole system will encourage people to post in their spare time so i have no control over how often people visit

if someone has a fairer system please let me know!

So when do you start your night fill job at the local supermarket to pay for these things?

If you are looking for things to reward then you could go for anything PS3 related. Charging stations, HDMI cables, keyboards, remotes ect.

If you dislike someone, don't negative kudos them for no reason (ie me)

maccaz point is a very valid one


I am going to ask some people to moderate the kudos that are getting given/received

if you notice people getting too many kudos for pointless posts then please report it
