how long it takes to ship something from NZ to Australia? any kiwis here?

Anywhere from a week to a month!
We've had stuff sent to us from NZ and it's arrival time can be pretty inconsistant.
Had letters posted from 2 diff people posted on the same week, and arrive 2 weeks apart!
I reckon about a week or two though in general.

Well, after calls to the NZ post office of which the seller chose to ship my item, apparently the postal guys actually SHIPPED IT! by fucking boat! that's why it is taking so long
is it normal to go by boat? is that still an available mode of residential transport?

Probably best option. Livestock airmail would have been pretty pricey.
