Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Has anyone else been following this show in America?
It started off really '300' like and had a pretty mediocre storyline + character development, BUT since watching 10 episodes I can safety say that it is a very good TV show, with Australian actors Very Happy

.

I hope it comes to Australia for people that can't download it but I don't think it will get past the filters here. Pretty graphic show.
Note for Azza (I just came from the Underbelly thread): it has lot's of titties + some p***y!

Holy F**k.

This show is truly unbelievable. If you can download it, watch it.
If you can't, hope to hell they bring it to 7 because this is by far one of the best shows I have ever seen on television.

Outstanding script writing, the season finale was reason enough to watch the whole season!

I've already got it.

It's got some of the worst acting and effects ive ever seen. Way too much fake blood and slow-motion. They try too hard to copy 300.

So you don't like it? I think your the first person I've come across that doesn't like it from about E05.
If you hated the season finale then you truly have your standards set too high, lol.

I've only seen three episodes.

The show is alright, but all the shit acting and effects ruin it. It's so obvious that they try to make a "bad ass" tv show.
I'm one for female nudity and foul language, but this show actually gets to the point where it's fucking retarded to have so much of it sometimes. They simply try to hard and it shows in a negative way.

Also the episodes would go for half the time if they cut out all of the slow motion and pausing. It would be good to watch a fight in normal speed for once.

I do not recommend the 720p. The show isn't that great, and the effects are utterly horrible.

I must admit though, the show got better as it went on, and the final three episodes are great and almost warrant a download of the whole season.
