The Pacific

Did anyone watch this bad boy? I really liked it. Not surprising considering I liked "band of brothers" which was made by the same people.
Your thoughts?

Yup Im watching it. Not bad, but not as good as band of brothers.

band of brothers was epic and ive seen it probably 15 times now, lol.
considering getting the blu ray version.

I think band of brothers was better, so far. I'm worried that they will turn the pacific into some crappy romance and gloryifying (?lol) america even more.

Anyone intersted in that movie, i think its called Beneath Hill 60? It's Australian i think so it should be better

I'm with you on this tiger, I have a sinking feeling they will turn it into a romance type thing as well.
Band of brothers was great so its hard to top but i still think Pacific has some potential. I need to Buy the DVD's cause I miss out on most of it because of basketball training.

Also beneath hill 60 looks pretty good. I'll probably check it out.

Band of brothers was on a tv while ago, I recorded them onto the HDD. I edited out the commercials too because i hate adds.

Looking at the adds for the for the pacific it looks like it will turn into a bit of a romance, but i'll still watch it!

What I'm hoping happens is they go all romancy for a couple of episodes then chuck em back into the fight and we continue from where we left off

It's on right now. Too Hollywood for me.
