Yeah it is expensive. I went with contiki, so they organised the accomadation, but I do remember that it was pretty far outside of the CBD and had to get a bus for 10-15 minutes. It was a bitch to get home late at night.

i remember last year when i went on my school trip, it cost me around 5-6 grand to stay for 2 nights in Greece and 10 nights in Turkey..
plus i had to take extra spending money cos everywhere was soo expensive..

lets hope the rate with Euro's goes up so it's closer to the au dollar

Just booked Amsterdam. Booked at the Aspen Hotel which is dirt fucking cheap. 210 euros for the two nights, in a triple room with a private shower and toilet. It is also in the very middle of the city.
