Star Ocean - The Last Hope

Playing this at the moment. Its not too bad. The characters are not as annoying as FF13 and the script is allot better. Its a very complex game and there is a steep learning curve. Also getting platinum in this game I reckon is fricken nearly impossible (250hrs and 3-4 playthroughs) Wottagunn this 1 is for you.

Dare I say it. I am having way more fun and things to do in this game than ff13. This title is packed with content.

I don't really like FF13. I played maybe 10 hours and it was too linear for me.

I bought this earlier today, will try tonight.

just watched a trailer and it looks alright.. if i had the money and the time i might have brought it.. i will stick to

Well I instantly love this game, which is good opposed to a 30 hour push to get to the good bits.

I have only played 2 hours though... Will report more tomorrow.

This game is very good but not at all good for people interested in trophies. I have played around 10 hours and have 1 bronze trophy.

Fuchs said he has played through the whole story, playing 50 hours and has got around 6-7 trophies.


That being said the battle system is the way I would like the Final Fantasy battle systems to be. It is very much based around the system because it is battle after battle after battle.

Rpg lovers will love this game

250+ hours and a difficulty rating of 9.5 for platinum.

Not necessarily hard, just time consuming. Same goes for WH.

Demon's Souls Plat is harder than both.

Demon's Souls is 80+ hours with 9.8 difficulty.

WH is 1000 hours, 9 difficulty.


Those are averages though, and there are a lot of shit gamers out there. I'd give WH 750 hours and 7 for difficulty.

Demon souls is a cake walk compared to this game. There is this 1 trophy where you have to complete a randomly generated dungeon with 20 levels with extremely difficult creatures to battle and an extremely difficult end boss with 1 hit kill attacks. It apparently takes 2-3 hrs to get to to the end boss depending on what you have to do to complete each dungeon level. The big catch is, you cannot save!!! And if you die, you will need to start from the beginning. There are also no shops on the way to buy more health ect.
I give this game a trophy rating a 9.8/10 while demons souls was a 8/10 for me.
