NIER

NIER is an action RPG that feels like the ugly baby of Demons Souls, Devil may cry and God of War. You level up like an RPG, but it is hack n slash like God of War. The concept is eccentric to say the least. It is fantastically odd and wonderful, the enemies are so absurd it is intriguing. The graphics and gameplay are not up to par with current games but the concept is so interesting that it could easily become addictive.

just picked up my copy.. looks alright

I didn't get very far as I had heaps of other games to play at the same time, such as Star Ocean.

Let me know what you think of it a bit further into the game.

Mate, I think you need to concede that you only like mainstream games. Also that you are not a real RPG fan.

A proper RPG is odd and different - that is why I enjoy them.
