Hey everyone,

What do you think the PS4 will look like? What features will it have?
Go on. Make a prediction. I promise we won't laugh.

If 3D visuals are a failure, there will be no PS4.

What makes you say that?

Sony stated long ago that their goal with the Playstation was to make the console the center of ones loungeroom, and I think they have done that with the ps3. Updates will keep it going for a long time.

but, hardware changes rapidly these days so you never know.

The ability to do everything without getting out of your chair. Also it will be far easier and almost automatically to have your internet connection setup for it.

Also the ability to have dual screens. So you could link it to two tvs, with one having a game on it and the other all the other ps3 features.

The problem with dual screens is that it requires much more graphics power to render both at the same time.
Improved graphics will get Sony more profit than implementing dual screens.

Rubbish. Update's don't bring in any new, considerable profit. There will be a PS4, even if the only enhancement is 4x AA instead of 2x. Once companies start making games for the PS4 people will buy it regardless.

I think they'll try for improved motion sensor technology to better compete with wii.

I think you're absolutely correct, Isis.
The Wii may not have the best graphics but the unique feel of it's gaming experience is something PS4 will have to take into consideration if it hopes to stay among the best.

I was gonna make a thread about it but the playstation "move" (Sony's answer to the wii-mote) is looking like it will be much better than the current wii motion controllers.

I'll search for a good link

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that. Looks great and seemless. Really fluid motion, if I remember correctly.

If PS is getting the Move to compete with the Wii what is Xbox doing?
