Red Dead Redemption - Debriefing Room
Please put your experiences in here as you play. So much to learn as we go along and I'd love to share other people's experiences. Especially with regards to the multiplayer aspects.
Oh, but no spoilers please cos each of us will be progressing through the singleplayer at different speeds.
Tips and hints welcome.

Re: Red Dead Redemption - Debriefing Room
I am really enjoying the variety of stuff to do. I keep wandering off doing things and then remembering oops I have a mission. I've never played a game like that before so am finding this aspect really enjoyable (maybe dragon age was like that but I could never figure out wth was going on).
Has anyone played poker yet. I'm definitely going to try that next time I play.

Online mp is a lot of fun. You can shoot your mates horse as they are riding along and they will just colapse to the ground, looks hilarious.
The sp in this game is pretty good, given you are into just roaming around, which I am.
I spend most of my time hunting and skinning animals, hunting down people with bounties on their heads or gambling.
I get a lot of money from animal skins and meats then loose it all to poker, haha.
Bec, we should play mp sometime with Bourkey too.

Got this last night. Is there any way to change the controls for shooting and aiming. I tried to find an option but may have missed it. Its like they made this game with only the xbox 360 controller in mind. Overall not a bad game. Love to join your posse Cap and Isis - need a few days first to complete the SP as I am currently clueless about everything.
My first tip - dont shoot the shop keeper. The shop will stay closed for 5 days.

Re: Red Dead Redemption - Debriefing Room
I'd love to try the multiplayer Cap and Fuchy. Had a quick look at that and saw that there are female characters!!! Wowsers!!! I haven't mastered much of the single player at all.
I just got to say that I find the horse riding fantastic. I'm amazed at the level of detail that generates as you ride along - even shadows.

@Fuchs - I can't see a way, the shooting controls are the same as just cause I believe.
@bec - yes, there are chicks! I went a girl and went and beat some guys up in a fist fight!
Mp is so good. You start with nothing really, a donkey is your mount. As you level up you get better clothes and mounts. The weapons you have to find yourself.
The second mount is a horse but it looks like Dustin Fletcher, malnutritioned.
Later on you unlock water buffalo and bulls to ride!
The donkey is the funniest though.

Dead to Rights was full of Home rewards. I guess Sony are pushing more people to use it.
