I can see Sony making so much PSN+ exclusive shit, that everyone is "forced" to pay for it.

sony is a business they have to make money, they have shareholders etc to keep happy. They do still keep a free option which is the main thing. Which is good for casual gamers who the 50 dollars isnt worth it for who jump on 4 times a year unlike microsoft. you want extra feature for psn? well in life YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

If you're happy with what you have now then don't get the premium service. It's simple. Sony are simply offering more to those that are willing to pay for it. We are not forced to get it at all, unlike the other system.

Also, if the premium service turns out to be really good, the Xbots will have nothing over the PS3.... Just sayin'.

I'm still undecided about it because I'm not sure what content I'd actually use.

I don't mind $70 a year, for the amount of hours I log it would be almost impossible to calculate a hourly cost per hour for entertainment. I'd really like to see a small amount of credit to spend in the store each month, hope we don't get screwed for choices ie DL's this month are a,b,c,d

Have to upgrade the HDD by the look of things, that's when you DL a couple of titles each month, including PS One classics, as well as Beta's etc.

As long as the good times keep rolling, I don't mind paying too much.
