Dues Ex: HumΔn Revolution

Anyone plan on getting this game?

I didn't play the first two but this a prequel to it so I might play them if I get this next year.

AI concerns aside, with an old-school grid-based menu system, high quality voice acting, and a wealth of interesting augmentations I didn't get a chance to see, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the most promising games of 2011. So far it seems to have all the elements of what made Deus Ex great, wrapped around a modern gameplay style.

A paragraph from a preview on IGN. I am interested in this title mostly because PC magazine's can't stop talking about the original and how good it was.

I don't think this game is for me though. Anyone going to get it?

Got this yesterday. Its like the lovechild of MGS and mass effect.
Liking it so far and this should take a long time to complete.

Yeah I have heard of that comparison before and I definitely like MGS and am pretty sure I would like mass effect so it does sound good. Give us an in depth review mate once you play a few hours of it. I am curious about it.

I have told myself I am done with 100% trophies and then this game came along. (allot of missable trophies if you into that kinda thing)
You are foolish if you don't try this game. I loved it from start to finish.
Graphics are ok but the gameplay, story, sound and fun factor is top notch.
If you like stealth/assassination and games like MGS4, Batman AA, Mass Effect 2 and Hitman this game is for you.
I give it a solid 9/10.

im done with difficult trophies, and grinding. If I enjoy a game ill get the Plat, but if it requires something shit I won't bother.
I've had enough.

Totally agree. With deus ex there was no grinding but you had to play the game the developers intended it to be played. You can get everything in 1 playthrough if you are thorough enough in your sidequests.
I'm also done platting grinding games. For future plats it must have a certain difficulty ie no baby titles that a monkey can do and no tedious grinding.
