Hardcore

Does anyone play this?
It is 10,000 times better than normal mode and now that I play it I simply can not do normal.
It should not take an entire clip to kill someone.

Brad, should start playing hardcore with me.

hardcore search and destroy is awesome.. when we had that party going the other night i simply loved it.

Hardcore S&D is pretty good.

Whats the diff from Normal to Hardcore?

Sorry, I disagree. Campers are in all modes, and are rewarded just the same in all modes.

I like it because I generally have a quicker reaction than most people and use a silencer. In normal a silencer gives people enough time to turn around and spray me with their LMG + stopping power which = frustration.
Game shouldn't be about who has the stronger gun.

That being said, a week ago I would have agreed with you 100%.

MJ, hardcore has no crosshairs, no map, no kill cams, friendly fire and 1-2 bullet kills from any weapon.

If it showed the killcam or similar to what's in warhawk, i'd play it.

that said I don't mind hardcore

I find normal absolutely fucking painfully annoying after playing solid HC!!!

I like all the HC modes - HQ Pro is cool too.

One other diff is that if you are in a "Richochet" game, instead of Team Kill being on, your friendly fire rebounds on you even to the point of death e.g. if you hit a nice single headshot then you are RIP!!! If you wing someone, then you are only wounded etc.

I just played 2 rounds as an experiment.

Both times I got about twice as many kills as the second highest player. Neither game got to 7500 points.

I think it's way more suited to a defensive/camping style of play, which is ok sometimes but you never know when mongs are using heartbeat sensors

Also, spray and pray all day in hardcore. You have to aim in normal

MW2 sucks.

I'll agree with defensive, as I have started taking a more defensive approach to save myself from destroying all my controllers and my tele.

But spray? Serious? Or is that just a passing comment trying to get a point across that you don't like how the guns can kill easily?
My take on it is that finally you don't have to use a full clip to kill someone, also, you are not forced to use scavenger if you hope to get more than 3 kills per death.


Obviously it comes down to preference.
Wish more of you liked it, coz I will only play hardcore games when searching for a game now.

It's not that I dislike it, I was just saying I think it's easy mode compared to normal

I don't use scavenger but I always use marathon and commmando so I can go stabbing. Finding new guns isn't too hard

Man... why aint all of ya's active on BFBC2 as this lol...

I feel like swapping my BFBC2 for MW2 again haha

A pistol with a silencer from 50 yards would take more than that unless aiming at the head.
My point remains valid because if I am shooting someone in the back it shouldn't take (for maccas' sake) half a clip to kill him thus giving him time to turn around and spray me - regardless of where I hit him.

I'm not exaggerating - MW2 has got to be the game that requires the least amount of bullets to put down a foe.
You can easily kill someone across map with an SMG, something that should not really be possible. Also LMGs and ARs are mince meat making machines, chewing down anyone within a split second of holding down R1.
