Yeah I love 2k10, I don't play anything else.

I've almost finished my first full season of 'My Player' mode. I play full 12 minute quarters so it takes a while. I almost finished the regular season on my first attempt just before I YLOD'ed and had to start again. I play center for the Oklahoma City Thunder and we're up 3-0 over the Nuggets in the western conference final.

I go shorter players so that I get more points.

Usually play sg or pg as a 3-point specialist.

Pretty shining review for this. 'Best sports game of the generation'. Releases on Friday, can't wait for my pre-ordered copy to arrive.

I hadnt read the reviews before seeing this post, but the Jordan Highlights part of the game will be a real treat. I was watching basketball when the older guys were around Jordan/Pippen/Ewing/Wilkins/Drexler/Olajuwon etc And I will be recreating my all time fave player Latrell Sprewell in player mode, lol.

So I got this on the weekend and have been playing the my player mode.
It has been revamped so that you don't get penalized so heavily for things that really aren't in your control.

I have put it on full 12 min quarters which helps me get a higher rating each game.
I play a SF and got drafted to the wizards along with the number one draft pick Wall.

At the moment I don't get heaps of game time, but when I do I light it up. I am averaging 22.5 PPG with a percentage of 78% from the field.

You have to be really patient in this game otherwise you will get trumped every time. Play the d then wait for a break and capitalize.

Weezer, have you found that the opposition steals the ball mid pass a lot more in this game?

Picked this up today. Can't wait to get home now

Best sports game I have played, no lie.

Been up til 1 the last 3 nights cursing at my stupid team mates, haha.

Number one tip if you are playing the my player mode (highly recommend it): Be patient.
You have to take your time in defence. Don't rush for a steal, don't jump prior to your opposition jumping for their shot (they pump fake heaps) and don't run away from your man unless you are certain your team will get the rebound.

Take weevers tip of putting the quarter time up as well, makes it easier to attain a good score and get more skill points.

I played my first full NBA game last night and got 56 points.
Lakers, Hornets and Raptors are keen on grabbing me now.
I won't go to lakers coz I won't be able to bump out Artest for a possie, might go to Hornets though.

Kinda keen to stay with Wizards, with me and the number one draft pick we are sure to do well.

I need to get this. I play basketball and have never really been able to get into basketball games (except for NBA jam 2003), but from what i've read and heard this one is pretty amazing. Will pick it up with MoH this weekend.
